Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical drama The Resident. Also, she was praised for her bold television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are some of her most acclaimed movie role. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with the Immortals) is said to be in development. She is also making a show titled Gods & Heroes.
