Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti] Romania). She was the first person to reach a flawless 10 on an Olympic occasion. Bela Karrolyi, an Romanian gymnastics instructor who later became Comaneci's coach and first became aware of Comaneci when she was just six years old. Comaneci competed for the first time in the 1969 national junior championships and finished 13th. The following year she was crowned champion. In 1972, during the communist nations' meet for junior athletes prior to the Olympics, she took home three medals of gold. In 1973 and 1974 she won the junior champion in all aspects. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals at her senior debut international competition, held in 1975. It was the first time she had competed as an adult. In 1976, she became the first female athlete in the world to utilize a reversed double salto in order to take off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she started appearing on touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6, 1942, at Chicago Illinois US. Carol's career began in entertainment during her teenage year. Her first professional gig was figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister as part of traveling entertainment show Ice Capades. The shows were skaters who were performed to music from the stage.
