Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13, 1962. Her film debut was with the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack of actors and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. Her film career began at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she was rewarded with a great deal of reviews. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured popular actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In the wake of her success in her first film, she later appeared in the comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the top high school film of all time. The film was made for just $1,000,000, but the film made over $50 million. While she was doing this the first time on TV, her television debut came in the form of CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show for teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she was a part of. Her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring an X-Men superhero, where she is in a role as a guest. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 due to her work. She also received the with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
